It's A Cliche But No less True For That



A business tycoon with obscene amounts of money has booked a hotel suite with a sulky blonde. He swigs from a bottle of champagne so heavy he can scarcely hold it to his lips. Musak plays in the background on the radio.
Meanwhile a film of W H Auden's Night Mail is projected directed by Picasso. In it dancers hurl themselves over and under each other like letters being sorted by 1930's machinery. The sound of the poem dominates the space showing up the real poverty of the first man.
